A good advertisement catches the attention
of people with good outcomes. There are many concepts that make up a good
advertisement but without these outcomes it can create a bad advertisement.
Some things that create a bad advertisement are: (Voon Ann, 2012)
- · The ad isn’t believable
- · The ad is to long and draggy
- · Not creative
- · False and Misleading message
- · Violence and obscene
- · Sexist
When the ad isn’t believable, it can cause
false advertisement and complications. When the ad is too long and it drags on,
it won’t catch the attention of people and won’t want to become consumers to
the product or company. The same situation for if the ad isn’t creative,
consumers look for creative products and also creative advertisements, its
shows a lot about the product and company. False, misleading, violence and
sexist messages are the wrong thing to put or advertise on an ad, it can cause
people to have a different understanding of the ad and their lifestyle. The
main point is to create an advertisement that will have a good outcome on
people and create them so it will attract people to be interested in the
product.
